What is “McCarren Park Circle”?
It’s an outdoor interactive music series for toddlers and families led by Brian Stearns, designed to get young children singing, dancing, and playing.
Do I have to pre-register or sign up in advance?
What is the age range for classes?
No, all classes are on a drop-in basis.
Weekday classes are best suited for children ages 0 to 3.
Weekend music circles include children up to 6.
What should we bring?
Blanquets, shakers, and bells are recommended for outdoor classes. Bringing your favorite puppet and/or instrument is always welcome.
Instruments are provided in indoor classes, but bringing your own is also welcome.
What happens if it rains or weather is bad?
Outdoor classes are canceled on rainy days. For updates, keep an eye on Tunes for Tykes' Instagram.
Indoor classes are not affected by rainy days.
How long is each class?
Classes are 30 minutes long.
